Salary: $155k – $225k OTE (80/20)

The Role

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to partner directly with enterprise customers as they design, deploy, and scale production-ready AI applications. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role where you'll combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver tailored AI solutions, lead complex implementation projects, and help customers maximise the value of their AI investments. While the company is remote-first, candidates should be based in the New York City metro area due to the collaborative nature of the role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with enterprise AI and engineering teams to design, implement, and scale Generative AI observability and evaluation solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders and senior business leaders.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution design sessions.
• Develop custom integrations, tooling, and workflows to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, taking engagements from discovery through successful delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Help shape implementation best practices, technical playbooks, and delivery methodologies as the team continues to grow.
• Provide strategic technical guidance and share customer feedback to influence future product development.

Who You Are

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience in a customer-facing or delivery-focused role.
• Based in the New York City metro area.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup, consulting, or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java and TypeScript.
• Experience building or supporting production Generative AI or MLOps solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerisation technologies including Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• A collaborative problem solver who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges in dynamic environments.
• Passionate about AI and excited to work at the forefront of rapidly evolving Generative AI technologies.
