We are running a search for a fast-growing AI infrastructure company to hire their first Presales Engineer in Hong Kong. This is not a standard presales role. The company has an exclusive contract with Microsoft to deliver dedicated GPU infrastructure into Azure, filling the capacity that Microsoft currently cannot meet on its own. They closed a $110M deal as a very small team. The Greater China pipeline is the reason this role exists now.
What you'll be responsible for
Supporting the sales process across Greater China, from discovery and scoping through to proposal and close
Leading technical conversations with enterprise and government buyers at both the engineering and C-suite levels
Mapping customer AI workloads to the right GPU infrastructure across NVIDIA, AMD and other vendors
Running all conversations in both Mandarin and English
Building proofs-of-concept and technical proposals that win
Working closely with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure that what is sold can be delivered
What we're looking for
6+ years in a presales or solutions engineering role within AI infrastructure, cloud, or GPU compute
High-level technical fluency across GPU vendors, workload mapping, compute optimisation, multi-vendor architecture conversations
Mandarin fluency is essential, not a nice-to-have
Comfortable in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where the role evolves with the business
Background at a hyperscaler, AI infrastructure vendor, or high-growth startup preferred
Based in Hong Kong or able to relocate
